SOME OF THE ITEMS WE SALVAGE

T Y R E S

We recycle and in some cases re-use tyres that pass our safety checks. Where tyres do not meet recommended safety standards then these are separated awaiting from a designated company specialising in the shredding and re-use off the rubber and metal contained in todays tyres.

ALUMINIUM

Many engines nowadays are made with a large amount of aluminium present as well as items such as Radiators and Condensers and of course the Alloy Wheels, these are treated differently to the standard ferrous metal which most of the car is made of

C A R B O N

After many years of motoring, many vehicles heading for recycling will have significant amount of carbon withth the engine and exhaust system, this is kept to a minimum by de-polluting a vehicle.

ELECTRICAL

Items such as Alternators, Starter Motors, Power Steering Pumps and Conpressors are usually removed and in most cases sent to specialist re-manufacturing companies and in other cases where demand outweighs supply, we make them available for sale as salvaged parts.

SENSORS

MAny of todays complex electrical sensors are prone for failing and that is why we taker most sensors out of the vehicle and we test them for electrical integrity and where necessary soak them in an ultrasonic bath to remove unwanted deposits.

M E T A L S

The metals in general contained in todays vehicles contain the normal ferrous metals but nowadays many vehicles have rarer metals inside such as Copper and Lithium.
